Hi, my name is Shuang Chen. I am a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate at Cornell University, advised by Prof. José Martínez. Prior to joining Cornell, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China in 2015.
I am broadly interested in computer architecture and systems. Specifically, my current research focuses on improving the resource management and efficiency in datacenters leveraging emerging hardware technologies like processing-in-memory. I have worked in areas including cache and memory subsystems, database systems, and GPU architectures.
