UI7 News is a weekly live 30 minute newscast aired by journalism students at the University of Illinois. The broadcast journalism students cover various stories on campus and in the Champaign-Urbana community. UI7 News is a unit of the Department of Journalism within the College of Media at the University of Illinois.

Newsbreak
Newsbreak is an introduction to news production. Students in J340 will produce and create content for 7 live 15-Minute newscasts and the semester ends with a full 30 minute live newscast that airs on UI7 and streams on YouTube here.
Good Morning Illini
GMI is a volunteer morning show that is live every Friday during the semester from 9am to 9:30am. There is no need for prior television experience to get involved. Again this is not a class. It is a great opportunity to get television broadcast experience before your required tv courses. Or for non-journalism majors to get tv experience. Stories on GMI are usually campus based and tend to be aimed more at entertainment then news.
