Redline Collection
A New play
Art, law, love, friendship, and politics
Kristen J. Bjorge’s play, Redline Collection, follows four young, queer women in 1982-83 Chicago, as they navigate careers, friendship, love, and the emergence of a mysterious new illness devastating the lives of their male friends and forever changing their community.
This website is dedicated to understanding the era and experiences of these women during this particular time and place. It centers first around the script text, and explores discoveries made during the new play’s workshop and rehearsal process.
