Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Administrator Workshop
Fostering Integrity through Effective Education

Virtual Workshop | Wednesday June 11 – Thursday June 12, 2025

Pre-Conference Sessions | Thursday May 1 and Thursday May 29, 2025 (noon – 1:30 PM, Central Time)

The workshop objectives are to:
1. Build peer mentoring networks of new and established RCR administrators to provide ongoing support and professional development.
2. Equip RCR professionals with knowledge and resources to implement effective RCR education programs and to apply best practices of RCR education.
3. Provide a model for future RCR administrator training workshops.
4. Produce a publicly accessible RCR catalog.

Intended Audience

RCR administrators across the range of institutions of higher education and U.S. research institutions. While early and mid-career RCR administrators are the target audience, experienced RCR administrators will gain new knowledge and skills. 

Attendance and Cost

This workshop is structured as a virtual conference, with a limit to attendance. Priority will be given for one attendee from each participating institution; this may be opened up if space allows. There is no cost to attend.

Requirements

Registered attendees will be required to participate in two pre-conference virtual sessions and complete an institutional self-assessment assignment. These sessions are planned for Thursday May 1 and Thursday May 29, 2025, (noon – 1:30 PM, Central Time).
