The Etiology of Personality and Individual Characteristics (EPIC) Lab is a personality, gender, and sexuality research group in the Department of Psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign run by Dr. D. A. Briley and Dr. Jaime Derringer.

Our lab is a hub of innovative research dedicated to exploring the intricate interplay between identity and experience. Our team applies diverse methodologies and collaborates across disciplines to address pressing questions in the realms of development, health outcomes, and public science.
