What Can We Do To Make Our Department Better?
This is the question responsible for the very existence of the Physics Student Advisory Board.
The University of Illinois Physics Department is renowned for excellence in education, but in a field- and world – as fast moving as ours, up keeping excellence requires adaptation. Adaptation starts with the student body. When a student notices a problem, we want to hear about it. Our job is then to investigate the issue and bring our concerns to the administration. Then, we try to do something about it.
What can you do to help?
Get involved. Come to the Town Hall, come to department events, and respond to the surveys we send out.
