A South Korean-funded rice processing center was turned over to the Philippine government last week. The R150 million RPC complex was built to help achieve food self-sufficiency. The facility will aid farmers in attaining higher income and improve efficiency in rice production, storage, drying, and processing, and help reduce rice PHL. Another three complexes are currently being completed.
