Congratulations to Chris Maniotes for a successful press release of his publication! Chris was featured in outlets such as Forbes and Pyschology Today. He was also invited by NPR Illinois for an interview on dating in a pandemic.

Congratulations to TeKisha Rice on receiving the 2020 Steve Duck New Scholar Award from the International Associaion for Relationship Research. TeKisha will be recognized in London at the 2021 IARR conference.

Congratulations to Chris Maniotes on his first 1st author publication! His study examined how couples’ rituals may impact the chance of marriage. Read the full study here.

Congratulations to Dr. Brian Ogolsky on his selection as the recipient of the 2018 International Association for Relationship Research Teaching Award and to HEART Lab Alumnus, Dr. J. Kale Monk on receiving the 2018 International Association for Relationship Research Steve Duck New Scholar Award! Dr. Ogolsky and Dr. Monk will be recognized in Fort Collins, Colorado at the 2018 IARR conference.

Dr. Brian Ogolsky was selected as the new Director of Graduate Studies. Congratulations!

Congratulations to Jaclyn Theisen on her first 1st authored publication! Her study employed an accelerated longitudinal cohort design to examine changes in attachment style from childhood through adolescence.  Read the full study here!

Congratulations to Dr. J. Kale Monk for accepting an Assistant Professor of HDFS position at University of Missouri!

Dr. Brian Ogolsky recognized as one of the nation’s best teachers in agricultural education ad the 2017 meeting of North America Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture. Dr. Ogolsky was recognized for his comprehensive coverage of Family Theories with an eye towards diversity and intersectionality.
