Biography

Bella Pequette is a Junior studying Nuclear, Plasma, and Radiological Engineering with a concentration in Power, Safety, and the Environment. Bella started an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the Socio-Technical Risk Analysis (SoTeRiA) Laboratory this September. Bella is also the Fundraising Chair of UIUC’s Women In Nuclear Chapter, and previously served as the Content Chair. Bella has previously conducted research within the NPRE department as a member of the Analysis of Reactor Transients and Stability group under Professor Tomasz Kozlowski and as a technical writer, public engagement officer, and team member of the Illinois Microreactor Demonstration Project lead by Professor Caleb Brooks.
