Biography

Dr. Tian’s research concentrates on the developing and applying a variety of statistical models and methodologies in agriculture, animal science, biomedical science, epidemiology and natural resources. She is interested in analysis and interpretation of application of statistical models, data mining and data interference. Currently, her research evaluates novel predictor variables of government culling strategy for chronic wasting disease (CWD) , prediction prevalence, genetic analysis, mechanisms of CWD transmission, and landscape connectivity to CWD in white-tailed deer.
