Megan was a student in Animal Sciences studying Pre-Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She worked on multiple research projects for Dr. Nohra Mateus-Pinilla and Dr. Jan Novakofski focusing on wildlife. A few of the projects she was involved in were research on Chronic Wasting Disease and Multiple Paternity. She plans to go to veterinary school and hopes to start working in the field of wildlife veterinary medicine.
