Christina participated in many aspects of research in the Novakofski-Mateus Lab. She optimized several microsatellite primers for white-tailed deer and used a PCR assay to assess the presence of Toxoplasma gondii in cardiac tissue. She also assisted in field work with wildlife by using mist nets to trap bats.
