Anna spent most of her research time working on the genetics of white-tailed deer and chronic wasting disease. Anna helped to organized and inventory samples as well as complete DNA extractions of selected tissues. She completed PCR reactions and helped optimize a series of microsatellites. She also assisted with field research projects such as trapping bat species for survey purposes.
