Non-Traditional Species Club (NTS)

The Non-Traditional Species Club (NTS) at The University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine provides opportunities for veterinary students to gain professional knowledge about the veterinary care of species not traditionally covered in the core curriculum such as wildlife, zoo, and companion exotic animals. Our vision is to support future exotic companion, zoo, and wildlife vets but also to provide exposure to students unfamiliar with or even scared to work with these species.
