What’s Involved?
Data collection for the study will involve 3 visits at the beginning (Baseline), 1 visit after 4-5 months (Mid-Intervention), and 3 visits after 9 months (Follow-up) to the Body Composition and Nutritional Neuroscience Laboratory (316 Louise Freer Hall) at the University of Illinois. The same procedures will be collected over the 3 baseline visits and 3 follow-up visits and a subset of the same procedures at the mid-intervention visit. Each visit is expected to take approximately 2 to 2 and a half hours.
Compensation
As a remuneration for your child’s participation, your child will receive electronic gift cards or checks for up to a total of $300. Your child will receive $100 following visit 3 or the baseline timepoint, $50 following visit 4 or the mid-intervention timepoint, and $150 following visit 7 or the follow-up timepoint.
Additionally, you will receive electronic gift cards or checks for up to $70 ($10 per visit) for travel compensation. You will receive $30 following visit 3, $10 following visit 4, and $30 following visit 7. A parking spot will be provided for you at no cost for each laboratory visit.
