Nepali Student Association at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (NeStA-UIUC) serves as a representative of the Nepalese Students in Urbana-Champaign, IL. The objective of NeStA-UIUC is to maintain cohesive relation among each other and cultivate an enriching environment. NeStA-UIUC also aims to promote and educate a better understanding of Nepalese culture and heritage to all students regardless of origin differences. The purposes of NeStA-UIUC are to promote the cultural and social integration and interaction, and to uplift international goodwill and friendship.

NeStA-UIUC is committed to uplift the cultural, social, and educational lives of the students of Nepal, and to bring about better understanding of Nepal and promote peace and harmony among the myriad of cultures within the University and beyond. Since the concept of global village is at its peak, we, the members of NeStA-UIUC, would like to be the members of this village by sharing our uniqueness with the University and Urbana-Champaign communities by means of useful programs and functions.
