Research Interests

My research focuses on the development of optical biosensors including photonics/interferometric imaging technologies, microarrays, microfluidics and bioanalytical assays for ultrasensitive and label-free detection of nucleic acids, proteins, and viruses. My current project is to develop on-chip DNA toehold exchange assays for digital-resolution detection of ctDNA biomarkers using photonics microscopy.
