Shifting Borders, Changing Consciousness: A Latinx & Chicanx Philosophy Reading Group

Join us in Fall 2022 for a new reading group: Shifting Borders, Changing Consciousness!

We will be reading and discussing a selection of works written by Latinx and Chicanx philosophers. The group will meet at La Casa Cultural Latina on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 4:00 – 5:30 pm.

Various flowers over a light blue background are overlayed with yellow boxes containing text at the top right, center, and bottom left of the poster. The text on the top-right reads “2nd & 4th Thursdays, Fall 2022, 4-5:30 pm, La Casa Cultural Latina” in medium size, bold, black font in all-caps. The text in the center reads “Shifting Borders, Changing Consciousness” in large, bold, black font, with “Latinx & Chicanx Philosophy Reading Group” in large, thin, black font. The box on the bottom left contains a blue University of Illinois “I” logo, followed by text that reads “Sponsored by the Philosophy Department, La Casa Cultural Latina, and Minorities and Philosophy (MAP)” in small, bold, black font in all-caps.
