Midwest Experimental Mechanics Student Conference

The Midwest Experimental Mechanics Student Conference is a two half day workshop during a spring weekend. The objective of the workshop is to bring undergraduate and graduate students from the Midwest universities working on contemporary topics in experimental mechanics together to exchange ideas and present their most exciting research. The Midwest Experimental Mechanics Student Conference is a forum for graduate and undergraduate students to present their research, in a relaxed and friendly environment. It is not intended to be a competition! The host provides the venue, meals for the weekend. Lodging is not included. Options can be found here. The meeting was first established in University of Michigan Ann Arbor in 2014 and was revived again by University of Wisconsin Madison in 2015. This year’s workshop will be hosted by University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign on April 9-10, 2016. The program includes undergraduate and graduate student oral presentations.
