We are excited to invite abstract submissions to the 2026 Midwest Microbiome Symposium: Partners in OneHealth: Hosts, Harvest and Habitats. This year’s symposium will be held May 11-12 at the I Hotel and Illinois Conference Center in Champaign, Illinois.

- Abstracts should include the following information (also see example abstract above):
- Presenter Full Name
- Presenter Status: Undergraduate, Graduate, Postdoc, Other
- Would you like your abstract to be considered for a short talk?: Yes/No
- Abstract Title
- Full Names of Authors, Underline presenter’s name
- Author Departmental and University / Institution Affiliations
- Abstracts should be around 300 words and should not include diagrams, illustrations, or other graphic objects.
- Abstracts should contain the following:
- Adequate background for a broad scientific audience
- Concise summary of methods and results (or overview of results that will be shared)
Abstract submission deadline: March 31, 2026
Selected trainee poster presenters will be notified by April 25, 2025
Posters: No specific template is required. Suggested poster size: 48” height x 36” width
