The UIUC SACNAS Chapter will be hosting a seminar on July 8th: “Cal State LA MORE: Preparing Minority Students for Success in Science PhD Programs

Invited speakers: Prof. Linda Tunstad-Gutierrez and Prof. Carlos Gutierrez, California State University at Los Angeles. They are Directors of the Minorities Opportunities in Research Program, a highly successful URM training program nationally recognized as a Bright Spot in Hispanic Education for training URMs in STEM fields.

Lunch with the Speakers (12:00 PM-1:30 PM)
There will be a free lunch at the Native American House (1206 West Nevada Street, Urbana, Illinois 61801) from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM on July 8th where you can meet Professor Linda Tunstad-Gutierrez and Professor Carlos Gutierrez. All interested students are welcome to join. If you would like to attend please fill out this Google Form by July 6th.
