The American Student Dental Association (ASDA) is holding its third annual National Pre-dental Week on Feb. 21-27, 2016.

During this time, ASDA will promote resources and events for pre-dental students, including two free webinars about scholarship and loan repayment and hot topics in dentistry. Pre-dental students that join ASDA during that week will be eligible for prizes. The pre-dental club that recruits the most pre-dental members from February 21-27 will earn a “virtual visit” from ASDA, which includes a personalized webinar with ASDA leaders, lunch provided by ASDA and raffle prizes for their members. Many ASDA chapters will hold their own events as well.

ASDA is the premier resource for students interested in a career in dentistry. There is an ASDA chapter at each of the 65 U.S. dental schools and more than 90 percent of all U.S. dental students are members. ASDA also supports a rapidly growing community of more than 2,300 pre-dental student members.

In addition to resources like the “Getting into Dental School” handbook, DAT preparation resources, pre-dental checklists and application timelines, ASDA offers leadership training and other tools to assist students during their journey to becoming a dentist.
