UK Fullbright Summer Institutes Information Session

Join the National & International Scholarships program for an information session to learn about the UK Fulbright Summer Institutes for freshmen and sophomores. The information session will provide a program overview, give tips for competitive applications, and answer questions. Also, University of Illinois student Lisa McGovern, who won this award in summer 2015, will be there to share her experience!

When: Thursday: January 28, 3:30-4:30PM

Where: Room 514 Illini Union Bookstore Building (entrance near Coble Hall)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • U.S. citizens 18 and over
  • 3.7 or higher GPA
  • At least two years of undergraduate study remaining

There are nine Summer Institutes available for US students in 2016.  The Summer Institute will cover the majority of the participant costs: round-trip airfare from the US to the UK, tuition and fees at the University, cultural programs, and room and board.

The application deadline is 23 or 26 February 2016, depending on the institute. More information, including descriptions of the nine institutes, can be found on the program website.

National & International Scholarships is here to assist with your application!  Make an appointment with us to discuss this unique opportunity and get started on your materials.
