The UIUC College of Engineering, along with the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, will host a workshop on materials computation, on August 14-15, 2017.  The theme of the workshop will be data science and multiscale modeling, from electronic structure to the continuum.  A group of distinguished invited speakers will join with UIUC faculty and researchers for a program of talks, posters, and discussion over two days.  The goals of the workshop are to identify new directions of research and to foster new collaborations.
