Material Advantage (MA) is an organization that serves the undergraduate students of the Material Science and Engineering (MatSE) Department within the Grainger College of Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The Illinois MatSE department is second largest and second ranked MatSE program in the country. The objectives of Material Advantage are to connect students with professional and academic opportunities, serve as a liaison between the student body and MatSE department faculty, and build community within the student body.
