Transport in Topological Insulators
We couple 3D topological insulators, which host a unique set of physics at their surfaces, to s-wave superconductors. In doing so, we hope to reveal exotic and unconventional types of superconductivity. We choose to use the topological insulator Bi2Se3, which we use to create Josephson junctions and study superconductivity with techniques such as Fraunhofer spectroscopy.
