The 2019 New World Luminescence Dating Workshop (NWLDW) will be held in Illinois, near the city of Champaign, from August 5th to 7th, 2019. The meeting seeks to provide an informal forum for discussion of luminescence and electron spin resonance research, with an emphasis on recent development, ongoing work, and student projects.
This workshop is designed to provide a venue for students and researchers to share and discuss current research activities and advances in fields related to luminescence dating and its related siblings (i.e. OSL, TL, ESR). Folks with all levels of experience (true luminescence geeks to dabblers to those who are just interested in the technique) and backgrounds (geologists, physicists, archaeologists, generalists) are welcome. We hope that this workshop will be helpful and a learning experience to all who attend.
Deadline for Registration: July 12, 2019
Deadline for Abstract Submission: July 19, 2019
Looking forward to welcoming you to the Champaign area in August!
