Our lab

Our lab is committed to conducting rigorous research addressing some of the most critical problems of our time including racial health disparities, educational inequality, and poverty.  In our work, we draw from a variety of disciplines to examine multiple mechanisms of inequality such as racial identity, racial segregation, neighborhood disadvantage (i.e., concentrated poverty, high crime), and work conditions. We strongly believe in translating our work into the public domain, being policy relevant, and making a difference in the lives of the people we study.

The Lleras lab is located at 201 Child Development Laboratory, 1105 W. Nevada Street, Urbana, Illinois 61801.
