The Negotiation competition simulates legal negotiations in which a team of two law students negotiate on behalf of their client to resolve a dispute or negotiate an agreement. Simulations provided for competition include a common set of facts given to all teams as well as confidential information given to teams for each side represented. The primary topic continues throughout each round of competition.
The College’s Negotiation team travels and represents Illinois at regional, national, and international events.
