Board Member Duties:

CC ADR Board Members help put on the College’s Annual Informational Demonstration session each fall to recruit students for the upcoming competition. Two board members will portray the attorneys and one board member will portray the client to showcase a condensed competition round at the Info Session hosted by Professor Noonan and Competition Director Deanna Shumard.

Members also assist Director Shumard with the intraschool competition by staging rooms, monitoring the team check-in table, answering questions from teams on the night of competition. They also help host two workshops and hold office hours prior to the intraschool competition. Board members are also responsible for filling in for any last-minute cancellations of a judge or an actor. A minimum two board members are required for these duties each evening of competition and are provided with dinner.

Board Member Duties on Competition Evenings	2 Board Members on duty each night of competition to: * stage rooms prior to competition (5:50 – 6:20) * answer questions from check-in survey @ 6:15, 7:15, and 8:15 * put rooms back at end of night (9:30)
Preliminary Rounds	Oct 29 & 30 / 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Semifinal Round	Nov 4 / 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Final Round Winning JD team will join CC board	Nov 6 / 6:30 – 10:00 p.m (The CC teams are encouraged – but not required – to view the Final)
