Jonathan MacDonald

Jonathan MacDonald is Associate Professor in the Linguistics and the Spanish & Portuguese Departments at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received his PhD in 2006 from the Department of Linguistics at Stony Brook University. His general area of research is theoretical syntax. He has investigated the syntactic underpinnings of inner aspect/telicity in a variety of languages as well as Romance impersonal, passive, anticausative and aspectual configurations.
