Hi! My name is Kennedy McClinton and my preferred pronouns are she/they. I am a junior majoring in Political Science with a concentration in Citizen Politics, and minoring in Journalism. I was born and raised on the Westside of Chicago, and I graduated from Ogden International High School.

On campus I am involved in a lot of activism, so I am a co-lead for a student lead organization called Black Students for Revolution (BSFR) where we organize, mobilize, and teach anti-capitalism ideologies, and ultimately promote Black unity and safety for all Black students on campus. I am the director of the Cultural department for the Illini Union Board. I host weekly meetings bringing awareness to marginalized communities, and plan/host events for students at UIUC to learn, explore, and appreciate their own culture or learn something new!

Some interesting things about me: I am an abstract painter, extremely interested in fashion from older generations, and I love getting piercings and tattoos as a form of self-expression!

My favorite UIUC moment would be the picnics and tabling I would do with my friends on the Quad:)
