Pianos

Piano Moving

Only trained personnel can move pianos in the theatres at Krannert Center. You can request the Events Office to set up a time for members of your ensemble to be trained to move the pianos, if needed.

A few items to remember:
– All pianos should be requested in advance to ensure the piano is tuned, moved, and is ready for your rehearsal and/or performance.
At no time in the Foellinger Great Hall should a piano be moved on or off the lift without a Krannert Center events staff member present.
– When a piano is being moved, there should be a minimum of three people handling the piano.
