Hiya Journalism 200, my names Julie Schreiner and I’m a Sophomore at UIUC. I’m pursuing a degree in communications and possibly a minor in either Journalism or Public Relations. I’m a big music junkie and consider myself a world traveler & a workout fanatic.

Writing has always been a passion of mine, as I write for Impulse Magazine and recently applied to be an intern at the Daily Illini, so  I was pretty excited about this whole blogging shindig.

Some of my favorite pastimes include: Spotify, Instagram, tennis, going out, cooking, and making short movies. Lastly, I’ll leave ya with my favorite quote to end my first blog post of 2017…
