Our lab is delighted to announce that Rita Huan-Ting Peng has been selected to receive the Expanding Horizons Travel Grant from the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM).
This prestigious award recognizes outstanding graduate students and trainees who demonstrate exceptional promise in broadening the scope of research in medical physics. Rita’s application was selected through a highly competitive review process by the AAPM Working Group on Student and Trainee Research, the Research Committee, and the Science Council.
The grant will provide $1,500 in support of Rita’s participation in an international conference, where she will engage with researchers across diverse disciplines to explore innovative directions in medical physics. As part of the program, she will also present her experience at the next AAPM Annual Meeting.
