Mia Sands has a B.S. in Integrated Biology and M.S. in Plant Biology. She has more than 5-year genomic and molecular lab research experience. Her goal in pursuing a Ph.D. degree is to integrate computational and quantitative analysis into modern biology. She is currently working on developing epigenetic editing tools using CRISPR-related technologies and incorporating Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms to identify cancer-related biomarkers.
