- MeeSup Yoon (research assistant professor, 2016) is promoted to full professor at Gachon University, South Korea.
- MeeSup spends a day (Friday, April 18) with Jie and in the lab, including group lunch at Evo and a marathon (3-hr) lab meeting in the afternoon – just like the old days.
- Ebru Erbay (PhD, 2004) came to campus for a visit.
- Jie meets up in Chicago with Yejing Ge (PhD, 2012), and separately with Yuting Sun (PhD, 2009), Julia Fang (research scientist, 2008), and Helen Wu (MS, 2006).
