UIUC iSchool Diversity Committee Programming

Welcome to the School of Information Sciences Diversity Committee programming website! Please visit on a regular basis to learn about upcoming events, meetings, and more.

iSchool in Color is a programming initiative by the iSchool Diversity Committee to create community through hosting a series of events during several high-profile months across the school year. We welcome your ideas and would love to work with you! The committee is eager to collaborate with individual students, faculty, and staff across the school. Thus far we’ve collaborated with campus units such as the University Library Diversity Committee, the Women’s Resource Center, and the Mortenson Center for International Library Programs; local groups such as the Champaign-Urbana Library Workers Meet-up, and Sanctuary for the People; and iSchool groups such as the Office of Advancement and Alumni Affairs, the Center for Digital Inclusion, Student Services, and student groups including PLG and Stitch’n’Bitch.  Enormous thanks to the anonymous donors who make our programs possible! Please join us in March as we celebrate Women’s History Month
