The iPALS Wellness Program will seek qualified applicants to fill a number of employment positions including: (a) group leader, (b) station activity leader, (c) behavior management, and (d) junior counselor.
GROUP LEADER: Work, and travel with, one group of children of similar age through each station of the day throughout the duration of the Program. Available in both hourly-paid and for college course credit options.
STATION ACTIVITY LEADER: Deliver instruction related to a particular set of activities to all participants based upon expertise and interest. Station activities will focus on content related to: (a) academic enrichment, (b) nutrition education, and (c) physical activity. Available in both hourly-paid and for college course credit options.
BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT: Work to build a positive culture throughout the Program to prevent discipline problems. Take reactive steps in response to discipline problems and facilitate their alleviation. Available in both an hourly-paid and for college course credit option.
JUNIOR COUNSELOR: Assist the group and/or station activity leaders of the Program. Open only to those enrolled in high school. Available only in a volunteer option.
