Emphasis
Dr. Miller works at the nexus of epidemiology and economics. Recent work has been on foreign animal disease (FAD) emergency preparedness and response. Exclusion of the most dangerous FADs is critical to the economic vitality of U.S. agriculture and many other important economic sectors; globally FADs have implications for food security. I also have strong interests still and did previous work in food safety and efficiencies in food safety along the food chain.
