What is an Animal?

The Kingdom Animalia is made up of multicellular organisms that use other organisms for their food. Most animal bodies are organized into tissues. Invertebrates make up the majority of the over 1.5 million animal species that have been described by scientists; 80% of the animal species are arthropods.
