Dialogue Sessions

Women in Actuarial Science

Women are playing an increasingly prominent role in the actuarial education and research community. Nonetheless, female scholars face more challenges than their male counterparts, which have become more evident in the midst of a pandemic. Featuring a host of accomplished and rising women researchers at different stages of their career, this dialogue session offers an opportunity to hear their stories and learn about how they rise to challenges with strong vision and leadership.

Research Frontiers in Risk and Insurance

Research in risk and insurance has experienced rapid development in recent years.  The goals of this session are to discuss where research might be heading in the future in different practice areas and to provide new researchers a way to navigate the landscape. In a world where we need a better understanding of risk and insurance more than ever, we bring together researchers in the field to share their valuable insights into the frontiers of the research.
