Allyson will graduate from the College of Law in 2019. In addition to being Managing Editor of the IBLJ, she is also a member of law review.
Niya Ge, Executive Editor
Niya will graduate from the College of Law in 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Design from OCAD University in Toronto, Canada. Niya is interested in new technologies.
Elizabeth Rice, Notes Editor
Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Webster University in St. Louis, MO. She graduated in 2013. She is interested in corporate and business law, international law, and litigation. Liz is also interested in technology, the stock market, and politics. Liz likes to cook, follow the stock market, and she likes to read for pleasure (“when I actually have time”), and she has a lot of plants.
Claire Chung, Notes Editor
Claire attended New York University and received a degree in Economics. She also minored in business studies. Claire is interested in antitrust, unfair competition, trademark, international trade. In her spare time, Claire enjoys traveling and yoga.
Michal Nowicki, Notes Editor
In 2013, Michal graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish (Hispanic linguistics) and a minor in Russian. He is most interested in international business transactions. However, Michal is also interested in bankruptcy law, income taxation (especially issues involving profits earned abroad and from disposition of property in foreign countries) and disability rights.
Michal has always been a passionate professional sports fan. In his free time, he watches not only popular American sports like football, baseball, and basketball, but also soccer, indoor men’s volleyball, ski jumping, tennis, and even speed skating. He also loves to listen to Eastern European folk music and military marches.
Joe Yeoman, Articles Editor
Joe received his Bachelors of Arts degree from the Columbia College Chicago in Creative Writing. He also holds a Masters of Fine Arts from Naropa University in Creative Writing. He is interested in startups and emerging technology. Additionally, he is interested in criminal law and politics. Joe is a business owner and avid cyclist.
Julian Jankowski, Articles Editor
Julian possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and History with a minor in Mathematics from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL. He is interested in international law and trade law. In his free time, Julian enjoys fiction writing, singing, and acting.
Steven Wittenberg, Associate Editor
Steven will graduate from the College of Law in 2018. In addition to being the Associate Editor of the IBLJ, he is also a member of law review. Steven graduated from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in 2012 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in Chinese Language and Literature. Steven is originally from Anaheim, CA.

Alex Karl, Associate Editor
Alex is expected to graduate in 2018 and is concurrently a member of the Elder Law Journal. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2015 with a degree in Economics and Political Science. Alex is originally from St. Charles, IL.
