Hosah Park is nestled in between the North and South Units of Illinois Beach State Park. It is part of the dune and sand ridge portion of the shoreline.
Currents bring sand that is shipped to Illinois Beach North Unit to the beach at Hosah Park, replenishing the shoreline.
