Daniel Dilley, Chair

Owner of O2CM since 2021. Certified Scrutineer (through NDCA, recognized by WDSF). WDSF Adjudicator in Standard and Latin. Championship Certified Adjudicator in all styles (NADTA).
Software developer for Medicaid by day, head coach of the 125 member Purdue Latin & Ballroom Dance Team by night. Daniel has been scrutineering using O2CM since 2012, including WDSF Open Championship events, USADance Nationals and Regionals, MAC, and many midwest college comps. Like several other affiliates, Daniel owns all the equipment needed to set up a wireless competition, including enough tablets for 30 or more judges. Peaceful under pressure, he has enough experience to recover from any surprises, and to keep the show rolling, and as a former Pro competitor, a complete understanding for the dancers.
He is based in Indiana, and since he will often be using vacation days, prefers to travel with his wife Yuehwern Yih, who is also a WDSF Chair and Adjudicator. Daniel also co-organizes the annual Purdue Ballroom Classic, which attracts as many as 400 collegiate ballroom dance competitors each year.
Christopher Spalding, Adjudicator

Christopher Spalding is a Co-Owner and Master Instructor at The Fort Wayne Ballroom Company and a UCWDC World Title holder.
He and his wife, Kelly Bartlett-Spalding, opened The Fort Wayne Ballroom Company to bring their fun-loving, welcoming attitude and their world-class training and experience to their corner of Indiana. Students are traveling from all over the world to come be a part of this wonderful school.
Chris is a competing professional in the American Smooth and Showdance divisions, where he has won many accolades and titles, including 3 North American Championship titles. He and Kelly have entertained audiences all over the country in shows and competitions. They have become known for their performance quality and their creative and exciting showdances.
Kelly Bartlett, Adjudicator

Kelly Bartlett-Spalding is Co-Owner and Master Instructor at The Fort Wayne Ballroom Company.
She has an extensive background in Dance Education, Performance and Competition, working with young children, adults, senior citizens and individuals with special needs. Kelly, and her husband, Christopher Spalding, compete in the American Smooth Division – and are Regional Rising Star, Open Professional and Showdance Champions. They hold 3 North American Titles and are known for their creative and entertaining performances.
Kelly is currently the the Global Top Female Teacher in the United States (2nd overall between men and women) and coaches four of the top 10 competing Amateur men in the country.
Gert Roselender, Adjudicator

The owner of Aurelia Dance Studio, Mr. Gert Roslender, started dancing at the age of nine in Estonia. Since then, he has won many ballroom titles in International Ballroom and Latin. Even after finishing university as a civil engineer, he never lost his passion for ballroom dancing. He continued competing and opened his own dance studio. In 1998 Mr. Roslender started competing and coaching in the United States. He is certified by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), North American Dance Teachers Association (NADTA) and the National Dance Council of America (NDCA). Gert has achieved a very high level of success as a professional dancer and instructor. He is United States Professional Rising Star Ballroom Champion and Professional Open Ballroom Grand Finalists. He is also co-organizing the Riverfront DanceSport Festival. Gert is a top ranked pro-am competitor nationally and regionally, having the opportunity to instruct and partner many students to United States and World Championship titles. He not only enjoys working with competition level students, but he also enjoys sharing his knowledge and love of dance with students at all levels, from young children to those who want to have fun and improve their skill as social dancers. Gert can help you discover your dance goals and make them a reality.
Kirsti Roselender, Adjudicator

Kirsti was always destined to be a dancer. At the age of 4 she started with ballet and step dance classes and continued with gymnastics until she was 10. She started teaching childrens classes during high school and recognized an immediate passion for teaching. She earned a masters degree in cultural studies, choreography and dance instruction. Kirsti, with her life partner Gert, represented Estonia five times in European and World Championships before moving to the United States in 1998. There, they continued their professional career, becoming United States Rising Star Champions and Open Standard Grand Finalists. Kirsti is certified by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, and the National Dance Council of America (NDCA), placing her in an elite category of ballroom dance instructors worldwide who have attained these designations. Whether it is the basics of social dance choreography, a wedding dance, or performing in studio showcases, she would love to teach you. Kirsti believes that dancing is fun and great exercise and that anyone can learn this beautiful form of expression for a lifetime of enjoyment.
Gabrielle Almgren, Adjudicator

Studio owner and instructor Gabrielle has been teaching ballroom dance in the Belleville and St. Louis area since 2011, and has had training with many of United States top ballroom professional dancers. She’s been dancing since she was a child. Gabrielle has placed first in more than 100 heats in competition at Las Vegas, Orlando, New Orleans, Nashville, Kansas City, and Louisville.
Gustavo Ballesteros, DJ
Gustavo has worked on a variety of productions, both in academic settings and in freelance events. At Northwestern University he has contributed to shows and events such as the UNITY Fashion Show; Celebrasia; BLAST Dancesport; “Tuck Everlasting” with Purple Crayon Players; Kaibigan’s Pinoy Show and Filipinx Fiesta; SEA Alliance Formal and SEA Night; VSA’s Culture Show; and the BMES Formal.
In his freelance portfolio he has handled sound/AV work for events including the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, Cloudbar at 360 Reopening, Bank of America Chicago 13.1, The Second City Training Center, Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle, the Labor of Love Fundraiser, UChicago Reunion Weekend, and Love Actually! The Unauthorized Musical Parody.
