ICON has two global conventions every year, one in the fall semester and one in the spring semester. During the semester, students work in multi-disciplinary teams of 6 to 8 consultants across chapters. Together, they consult for a company on a fee-paying project to find innovative solutions that meets the client’s needs. The companies are located in a chosen technology cluster such as New York City, Stockholm, Chicago, and Shanghai. The semester long project ends with a joint global convention hosted in the designated city when the teams will present their final deliverable live to the clients.
