The Humans in Nature Project

The Humans in Nature (HIN) Project combines applied research with outreach efforts to connect individuals of all ages to the natural environment.  Researchers from the University of Illinois provide stories of why individuals and families spend time in nature, video clips of parents and experts, and research-based information, and breaking news and commentary.

The HIN Project focuses on raising awareness of the benefits of nature to individual health and family relationships, and on inspiring people of all age to #GetOutside.

“Nature has me fishing for my love of adventure and new experiences.”
