“Humanities Collaborations and Research Practices: Exploring Scholarship in the Global Midwest” (HCRP) is an HWW Global Midwest-funded research study jointly led by Harriett Green at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Angela Courtney at Indiana University – Bloomington. The project is affiliated with the HathiTrust Research Center (http://www.hathitrust.org/htrc). This project aims to examine the community of practice developed through the Humanities Without Walls (HWW) initiative.

The HCRP project seeks to discover:

  • How humanities scholars share data;
  • How scholars build self-generated research environment infrastructures for supporting data sharing and research dialogues;
  • How scholars frame their collaborations in the context of their broader research aims and project goals.
