About Us

The Exercise, Nutrition, and Epigenetics Research Group is a research group within the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Our lab employs a multidisciplinary approach to explore the profound effects of exercise on metabolic health, focusing on understanding adaptations in key metabolites, lipids, and epigenetic mechanisms that improve bioenergetics and metabolism. Additionally, we investigate the transgenerational impacts of sedentarism and exercise on metabolism.
