Morgan graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2021 with a B.S. in chemistry. While there, she worked under Dr. Ying Ge synthesizing cleavable surfactants to aid in top-down mass spectrometry proteomics. Additionally, she worked as an intern at Sherwin-Williams in Minneapolis synthesizing waterborne two-component polyol latexes during the summer of 2019. In the fall of 2021, she joined the Hergenrother group as an NIH-CBI Training Program fellow, where she is now working on the synthesis of novel antipseudomonal compounds employing a prodrug strategy.
